تواكب مسيرة الأدب انعطافات مهمة، تترك بصمتها الخاصة والمميزة في شكل هذا الأدب، محاولة الاحتفاظ بسماتها وأساليبها التعبيرية، ويبدو الأدب في ظل تلك الانعطافات نظاما لغويا متكامل الأوجه، ولاسيما أنه يواكب حركة العصر ودوافعه الفكرية العامة. ومن ثمة يسعى هذا البحث إلى أن يقدم قراءة تأصيلية معرفية لمصطلح الرسائل وعرضا لطبيعة مواكبته للمشروع الفكري، وعلى امتداد تاريخه.
