الصبر من صفات الأنبياء والصالحين والمؤمنين ،وقد ورد كثيرا صبرهم في القصص القرآني وفي أحاديث الرسول الأعظم (صلى الله عليه وسلم).استعمل القرآن لفظة الصبر بصيغ مختلفة وبدلالات كثيرة جمعت في هذا البحث.بدأت البحث عن هذه اللفظة عند اللغويين واصحاب المعاجم.وجاءت بصيغ اسمية واخرى فعلية تضمنها البحث بالتفصيل. وجاءت بدلالات كثيرة ،تحدث عنها المفسرون والعلماء،من نتائج البحث أن الصبر له ميزان عند الله ولايقدر على تحمله إلا من أتاه الله نعمة الصبر؛لأن لهذه النعمة أجراً وثواباٍ ومنازلَ عالية.للصبر فوائد جليلة للانسان منها التحمل والقدرة على اجتياز المحن.
